   那个冬天，主管我们公司的宝森市长还没出事，我们最喜欢收听史东时间最爱看是音乐天堂 Music Heaven最兴奋的是弄一张Roxette演出的入场券，葛优正在筹拍后来被毙了的《活着》而他那辆从使馆倒出来的墨绿色二手宝马318就停燕京楼下的停车场里。
 

   经常不想回家晚上糗在大沙发里睡觉，初冬的风从复兴门外大街上扫过，我则喜欢一边看MTV一边入睡。记忆中最深刻的，就是这曲Tony Braxton的 Breath Again 和Micheal Bolton的 Said i love you,but i lied……

   今天搜了一下，怎么都没找到这个MTV，只有歌声，黑白的高速影像中Tony Braxton一袭长裙在迷宫中和那个长着一双温柔眼睛的年轻人擦肩而过，If I never feel you in my arms again，If I never feel your tender kiss again，If I never hear I love you now and then，Will I never make love to you once again，Please understand if love ends，Then I promise you, I promise you，That, that I shall never breathe again。

    怪不得这么好听，原来是Babyface操刀的曲子。

    这首发行于1993年7月的单曲，为她撷取了1994年格莱美最佳蓝调布鲁斯女歌手奖。一曲柔情似水的慢板，背景中的一两声轻轻叹息，她用略带沙哑的嗓音演绎了if love ends that I shall never breathe again的伤感。比起后来的火热造型和heat beat,我更喜欢回忆中的这曲Breath Again。

    写到这里，放眼窗外阳光微曦，海面波浪起伏。一晃多年过去，这首Breath Again以后也会一直陪伴着我。I can't stop thinkin' about the way my life would be，Now I can't stop thinkin' about,How could your love be leavin' me……
